I went to Spain for my first visit to Europe stopping by Barcelona & Madrid in 9/2011. Spain is one of the most interesting places I've been. Great, weather, food, people, and places to see. The images above were taken with a point-and-shoot camera and later adjusted (no DSLR at the time). I found the combination of old and new particularly interesting. I mainly observed this in the graffiti that was on most buildings with no attempts to remove it because many consider it to be art.
