Cyborg Eye
I'm fascinated by how technology alters human life and the idea of people with technological enhancements. So I created a 2D Composite of a female eye with cybernetic enhancements. The 2D cybernetic elements were created in Photoshop and saved as PNG's so that alpha channels could be used with various effects in After Effects. The backplate is footage purchased from pond5.com then later color corrected in After Effects. Tracking was used in After Effects to keep the 2D elements over the eye. Some of the animation techniques used were spatial keyframes and expressions.
